Open a Google search and type ‘real estate (your suburb or town)’
Are you there?
If you are then you need to work out how you got there and the best way to stay there. (Congratulations and keep doing what you’re doing)
If you’re not on Page 1 of Google, then as far as online search goes, you’re a secret agent.
And building anecdotal evidence suggests people want to list with an agent who comes up near the top of their Google search.
So anyway you look at it, it pays to rank and it costs if you don’t.
Another interesting thing to do is log into your Google Adwords account and search for key words or key word phrases to see what’s being searched and how often.
If you don’t have a Google Adwords account, it’s time to nerd up and get one because this stuff isn’t going away anytime soon.
